Carver Celebration 2011 dessert offering – top view
The Carver Center Foundation hosts an annual gala, the Carver Celebration, which will be held on Saturday, April 21st this year. A unique opportunity to sample the talents of our students while providing financial support for the Carver Center Foundation, it is a great venue for our families, friends, and the public to experience Carver Center’s unique curriculum, culture, and nationally recognized programs.
Throughout the evening, students from every Prime share their passion for the arts and technology. Art students perform original song and dance numbers, poetry readings, and theater offerings as well as sculpting and painting. Tech students demonstrate carpentry, engineering, information technology, and cosmetology skills. Guests can select from an exceptional menu prepared by culinary students who work side by side with local restaurant chefs and caterers. Attendees can purchase works of art by Carver Center students, alumni, and faculty as well as place bids at the silent auction of merchandise and services donated from community vendors
With your generous support through contributions of time, goods and services, and money, the “Carver Celebration” enables the Foundation to enrich the learning experiences of all Carver Center students in ever expanding ways.
To receive the discounted advance price, your order must be submitted online by April 18, 2012, and picked up at will call desk on Gala night.
General admission: $50 per person in advance; Carver Center student, faculty, staff & alumni: $25 per person
After April 18th, tickets are $75 at the door, if available.
